I offer 1:1 training and behaviour consults for a wide range of training needs. I would always start with an initial consult to assess you and your dog's needs so that we can then make a plan going forwards. From there I can then offer ongoing sessions either weekly/ fortnightly with the aim of gradually building on the training in each session.
I also hold a monthly group class called our 'Reconnect' group. This is tailored specifically for 1:1 dogs or for those that haven't been in a class environment for a long time but are ready to be gently introduced back into it. Once we all feel ready to progress into a group class this option is there. This is a really chilled, relaxed class focused on practicing all the skills that the dog already knows but in this specific setting with me on hand to help.
I can help with a range of training needs including reactivity, generalised anxiety, separation anxiety, frustration, over-arousal, recall, high prey-drive, fear-based aggression and much more. I also do work with other professionals including vets, other trainers/ behaviourists and groomers where appropriate as I will always take a holistic approach with any training that we do.
This is my most popular service and sometimes I can have a 4-8 week wait to get booked in. So if this is something you are interested in please do get in touch as early as possible.
All 1:1 training includes full ongoing support via WhatsApp in-between sessions and I actively encourage clients to send videos etc. in-between sessions.
I offer one-off puppy training 1:1 sessions or a range of packages. I tailor the training specifically to you and your puppy rather than following a set course. Every puppy is different! I also provide full ongoing support via WhatsApp for as long as you need it. Sessions can start as soon as you get your new puppy home. I can come to your home for indoor sessions and then once your puppy is ready we can progress to meeting in outdoor locations and taking the training into the 'real world'. I can cover crate training, sleeping arrangements, exercise, appropriate socialisation, basic training, lead walking skills, recalls and much more. Quite often clients start with a one-off 1:1 session or a block of 4-6 sessions and then progress into one of our group classes when they are ready. But there are lots of options and I am really flexible so if there is something specific you are looking for please do get in touch.
My focus with puppy training is always on teaching puppies and their caregiver's all they need to know to help their puppy grow into a confident, happy dog. I focus on teaching you how to read your puppy, learning about their individual personality and then tailoring training specifically to you and your puppy.
No puppy is a blank slate! All puppies come with their own personality, genetics and experiences in those first 8 weeks. Our job is to learn about each individual puppy so that we can then help them grow and develop.
I offer 6-week course group puppy training classes. These are ongoing so if you have a puppy and would like to join please do get in touch and I can get you booked onto our next course. All classes are held mostly outdoors, but we do move indoors (where possible) in poor weather conditions and throughout winter.
I also run our 'tricky teenagers' group for any puppy/ dog over 6 months old, covering elements of agility, scentwork and trick training as well as a range of life skills to help them through the tricky adolescent stage.

I work with local groomer Emma from Em's Paw Pals based in Deal. You can check her out at https://www.emspawpals.co.uk/.
So many dogs find being groomed challenging. We offer joint grooming/ training sessions working towards your dog/ puppy being fully comfortable with being groomed. Emma is a fully qualified groomer and is able to take on a wide range of grooming clients. My role is to then help the dog feel as safe and relaxed as possible with minimal stress.
We also use the salon for 1:1 sessions where we are working towards the dog being comfortable in a vet visit. The salon provides a unique context that is similar to a vet room but not as scary and intimidating. Emma has also been known to pop in on these sessions and act as our vet!
